Overview:
Introductory Presentation Skills presents the foundational skills and techniques for making presentations. The class provides a systematized method for planning, organizing, creating, preparing, practicing, and giving audience-centered presentations that achieve action-oriented results.
After assessing your current skills, you learn to determine your objective, identify your audience, open your presentation, control nervousness, employ engaging techniques, develop verbal and nonverbal communication skills, and make a strong close to your presentation.
You are given time to practice both your verbal and nonverbal skills. If you are a relative novice or still a bit unsure about your presentation skills, this class is for you.
Who Should Attend
All government and business professionals (including executives, managers, team leaders, sales and marketing personnel, technical personnel, office professionals) who, as part of their job, give presentations that convey information and knowledge to their audience or compel their audience to act in a specific manner.
Delivery: Instructor-led, hands-on delivery either online, or onsite.
