These three hour modules teach participants the Acrobat skills required to learn in shorter time frame segments.
The Basics (3 hours)
- Core-concepts in the creation of PDF documents
- View and Navigate PDF files
- Customizing the Toolbar
- Working with Pages in a PDF – remove pages/files from PDF documents
- Generate Bookmarks and Links
- Convert files to PDF, Microsoft Office and PDF creation
- Working with Comments
Working with PDF Part One (3 hours)
- Reviewing and Collaborating (distribution of PDF for review)
- Searching PDFs
- Create Headers & Footers/Adding/Renumbering pages
- Watermarks
- Editing text, objects
- Working with Images – imbed audio/video files
Working with PDF Part Two (3 hours)
- Setting document properties/Metadata
- Optimizing PDF files (for sending off to printers, or making a CRC for example?)
- Working with OCR
- Bates Numbering – method of indexing legal documents for easy identification and retrieval
- Working with Redaction
- Comparing documents
- Working with Adobe security settings
- How to package large amounts of separate pdf’s into one large document (brief)
Acrobat Fundamentals (full day)
This one day course teaches participants how to use basic features in Acrobat to create portfolios, forms and rich-media-filled fully interactive documents.
